Until September 2021 Dougal was the Head teacher of a London Primary school. He has extensive knowledge of the primary curriculum and is a Specialist Leader of Education in early years and outdoor learning. He is a local authority moderator, assessing the quality of early years provision throughout Lambeth. In addition, as a Forest School leader, Dougal has been involved in successfully developing an outdoor curriculum for urban children. Having been brought up in Luxembourg, Dougal is a fluent French speaker and has a deep understanding of the importance of mother tongue development for multi-lingual children.

Brought up in Hong Kong in an expat community, Laura has been teaching in London since 2005. She is currently working as a Primary School SENCO. She has taught and led all primary key stages and has led whole school teaching and learning in English, and English as an Additional Language. She has a specialism in early reading development and is a qualified SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). She has previously held roles as Assistant Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher both in inner city, multicultural state schools.
